Description
The work includes a five-pass grade on Forest Service Roads in Arrow Zone. The Contractor shall provide a swamper to carry out routine road maintenance including inspecting culvert inlets and outlets, maintaining waterflow after grading and removing rocks from road running surface.
Primary work is approximately 100km of grading, annually, on Forest Service Roads which will include biannual grading of:
• Ladybird Creek FSR
• Pedro Creek FSR
• Bear Creek FSR
• Perry Ridge FSR
• Little Slocan FSR
Deer Creek Forest Service Road will be graded once per month following snow-free in the spring, until winter for a total of 6 grades. (See Schedule C – Project Specifications for more details)
Work for this contract can be performed by one grader, one swamped and one water truck only as required. The Marshalling Point for this contract is Castlegar, BC. All travel associated with this contract will commence from this location.
The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s).
