Overview

East Mississippi State Hospital invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Dual-Certified Nurse Practitioner. The successful applicant will hold national certification in two nurse practitioner specialties and will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards. Rate of Pay $115/hr.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and formulate diagnoses

• Develop and implement treatment plans

• Coordinate care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain complete and compliant clinical documentation

• Participate in patient education and quality improvement initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN and APRN licensure

• Active national certification in two nurse practitioner specialties

• Graduation from an accredited nurse practitioner program

• DEA registration or eligibility

• Relevant clinical experience preferred

• Demonstrated excellence in communication and clinical judgment
