The City of Redwood City (“the City”) is soliciting proposals from a qualified consultant for services beginning in October 2025. Through its 2020 strategic plan, the City of Redwood City (“City”) has made a commitment to put equity at the center of all its work. The City’s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Leadership in Redwood City (“IDEAL RWC”) program advances workforce belonging initiatives, provides equity-oriented technical assistance to departments, and collaborates with external partners to support equitable outcomes across City communities. With this Request for Proposals (RFP), the City seeks an experienced consultant to support the workforce belonging initiatives by providing training, coaching, and data collection and analysis related to the City’s diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. The contract term is for two (2) years.  This RFP is to invite all interested, qualified consultants to submit proposals to provide professional services as requested by the City through the Equity and Inclusion Officer or Assistant City Manager. The selected consultant will assist the City with design, preparation, and facilitation of various employee meetings, trainings, engagement strategies, and projects.
