The district is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced vendors to provide comprehensive employee occupational health testing services. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to establish a contract with a provider capable of delivering reliable, timely, and compliant health screening and testing services that support the District’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
The selected vendor will be expected to offer a full range of occupational health services, which may include, but are not limited to, pre-employment screenings, drug and alcohol testing, physical examinations, immunizations, tuberculosis (TB) testing, respiratory fit testing, and other services as required by federal, state, and local regulations. Services must be delivered in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and efficiency.
Through this RFP, the District seeks to partner with a vendor that demonstrates proven expertise, high-quality service delivery, and the capacity to meet the operational needs of a diverse workforce.
Chesapeake Public Schools, including the School Board (hereafter known as the District) seeks proposals from qualified, licensed, and insured firms to provide employee occupational health services.
Through this Request for Proposal (RFP), the District is seeking to identify one or more vendors who can most fully meet the needs of the District as specified in this document and any associated attachments. The successful vendor shall provide testing which includes, but is not limited to pre-employment: periodic and random testing for a variety of positions.
Based on enrollment, the District is the seventh largest school district in Virginia. With nearly 40,000 students and 6,000 employees in 56 schools and centers, the District is committed to providing excellence in education for the children of Chesapeake.
