ADDENDUM NO. 1

The City requests proposals from qualified and reliable insurance carriers and administrators for the following:

1. Basic Life & AD&D
2. Voluntary Life & AD&D
3. Long-Term Disability
4. Short-Term Disability
5. Critical Illness
6. Accident
7. Cancer
8. Hospital Indemnity (new)

The successful Vendor must meet all requirements of this RFP, maintain proper licensing, and comply with all federal, state, and local laws and mandates relative to the services specified in this RFP.

The City requires an employee benefits program that will allow the City to attract and retain top quality employees; maintain the quality and reliability of benefits offered to employees, employees’ dependents, and retirees; and contain cost. The City would like to evaluate options for benefits and programs that will allow the City to provide the highest quality services while remaining fiscally responsible. The City will carefully consider any improvements to current coverage levels and services and/or innovative options to maximize the benefits available.

Sealed proposals may be electronically submitted through the City E-bid system accessible via City’s web site at https://gtowntx.ionwave.net/Login.aspx on or before April 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.
