Pierce County Department of Emergency Management (PCDEM) operates shelters for impacted communities during an emergency. To successfully operate a shelter, experienced staff are needed to manage daily functions and assist guests with shelter services. PCDEM’s shelter services can vary depending on the size and impact of the incident.
