Project Description: The Office of Housing & Community Development (OHCD) has $215,300 of CDBG funds for the purpose of providing homeowner-occupied housing emergency HVAC replacements.
The Emergency HVAC Replacement Program will serve income eligible Jefferson County residents in At Risk Neighborhoods. Based on available funding, it is anticipated that approximately 25 households will be assisted through this program. The program will run from December 15, 2024 through June 30, 2024 or when funds are depleted. No contracts will be awarded from this RFQ. This RFQ aims to recruit qualified HVAC contractors to apply to the Office of Housing & Community Development to be included on the Approved Emergency HVAC Contractor List. Contractors on that list will be offered HVAC replacement jobs on a rotating basis.
