This emergency extension procurement request (1 year-09/24/25-09/23/26) is to request approval to declare an emergency to allow the firm of Baker Tilly, an accounting/auditing firm with unique additional state and state-related public finance qualifications and experience under a State master contract with CMS for auditing services to immediately begin work (later today if possible) as part of a larger time-sensitive effort to secure and leverage other federal financial assistance and to channel private sector investment to avoid the loss of the same and to avoid the unnecessary cost of debt to Illinois residents, taxpayers, and ratepayers (a purpose of the IFA/CB under the IFA Act).
