Notes:
This RFP is to solicit competitive sealed proposals from qualified firms, businesses,
or individuals for the provision of Emergency Disaster Debris Removal and Disposal
Services to assist Boone County, Missouri hereafter referred to as “the County”, with
Emergency Disaster Debris Removal and Disposal Services.
Boone County, Missouri intends to enter into agreement(s) with qualified contracting
firm(s) to provide services in preparation for natural disasters or other debris-
generating events. The County desires to contract with one more contractor(s) for
stand-by contract(s) for these services. The resulting contract(s) will be activated in
the event of a disaster.

Optional Electronic Submission of Qualifications:
The Boone County Purchasing Department allows for secure on-line submittal of
proposal responses using the Purchasing Department’s electronic procurement
platform, Ion Wave. Offerors may register at no cost at the website:
bocomobids.ionwave.net and must be registered in order to submit Statement of
Qualifications electronically.

All questions regarding this Request for Proposal should be submitted in writing before the RFP opening and
no later than 5:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 18, 2023 (which allows enough time to issue an addendum answering
the questions). All questions must be mailed, faxed, e-mailed, or submitted electronically through Ion Wave. All such
questions will be answered in writing, and such answers will be provided to all parties having obtained a Request for
Proposal packet by the County by posting the addendum on the County’s electronic procurement Ion Wave website at:
