City of Waukegan Emergency Board-Up Services

The City of Waukegan is inviting applications from companies that are willing provide emergency board-up services at the prices set forth in this RFQ.

The Building & Code Department desires to create a list of eligible board-up companies that will charge standard pricing that may be used to secure buildings and structures that are vacant and open or need to be secured after damage or an emergency. The Building & Code Department will refer to the list of registered companies that have met the Department’s established criteria when seeking board-up services.

To be added to the list, service companies must submit a completed application, signed policy agreement/waiver, and signed certification forms to the Waukegan Building & Code Department: c/o Julie Hughes, Compliance Supervisor at For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address.. The list will be valid May 1 ^st , 2025 to April 30 ^th , 2026
