Emerald Park Playground Improvements Site Work Project

The City of Steamboat Springs, hereinafter referred to as the City, is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide professional services for the installation of site improvements associated with a new playground at Emerald Park in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, hereinafter referred to as the Project (Exhibit A) [PN1] . The contractor will be responsible for removing the existing playground equipment and providing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the site work for the new playground area, along with associated drainage improvements, irrigation system adjustments and minor utility work in the vicinity. The City has an approved bid set for the proposed civil site and landscape improvements (Appendices A & B). The playground surfacing, equipment foundations and equipment installation is outside the scope of this Project.

1. Proposals must be submitted via the electronic submission on BidNet ( https://www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado/cityofsteamboatsprings ) no later than 3:00 PM prevailing time on January 29, 2026 as specified on the solicitation notice. Please note that contractors must register on BidNet ( https://www.bidnetdirect.com/ ) in order to submit their proposals electronically. Proposals shall contain a cover sheet, project approach, construction schedule, site management plan and a cost proposal, signed by an authorized agent of the firm and other detailed information listed below in the following paragraphs.

1. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 11:00 AM MST January 6, 2026 at the Project site [MB1] , 500 Pamela Ln, Steamboat Springs, CO.   All contractors planning to attend the pre-bid meeting shall notify Ashley Steed ( asteed @steamboatsprings.net ) in advance and are expected to meet at the Emerald Park parking lot (Exhibit A) unless notified otherwise.
