Summary

Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the Regional District of Central Okanagan (the “District” or “Owner”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced companies, interested in performing work to upgrade the existing space heating/cooling system serving the Ellison Heritage Community Centre with a new gas absorption heat pump (GAHP) system.

Full details of the Work required is provided in the Division 01 Specifications, plus the Contract Drawings in Exhibit A of this RFP.    A summary of the Work is as follows:

Location: The Place of the Work is the Ellison Heritage Community Centre, located at 4411 Old Vernon Road, Kelowna, BC., as shown on the Drawings.

Maximum Budget:  The District is not stating a maximum budget for this Work.
Contract Time: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work:
•             The Work may commence anytime after: February 24, 2025
•             The Work must be Ready-For-Takeover no later than:  April 30, 2025

Form of Contract: The Form of Contract to be executed between the District and the Contractor for the Work will be the CCDC2 – 2020 Stipulated Price Contract, as modified by Supplementary Conditions.
