ELEVATOR REPLACEMENT – ODESSA COLLEGE SPORTS CENTER

ODESSA COLLEGE ("Agency" or "Owner") is soliciting bids from qualified elevator contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and services necessary for the complete removal and replacement of one (1) existing passenger elevator serving three (3) floors at the Odessa College Sports Center located at 201 W UNIVERSITY, ODESSA, TX 79764 . The existing elevator has reached the end of its useful service life and requires complete replacement to ensure safe, reliable, and code-compliant vertical transportation for students, staff, faculty, visitors, and persons with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), ASME A17.1/CSA B44 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, and all applicable state and local building codes.

This project shall include, but is not limited to: complete demolition and removal of the existing elevator cab, hoisting machinery, controller, guide rails, door equipment, fixtures, and all associated components; installation of new elevator equipment including machine, controller, cab, doors, fixtures, and all related systems; modification of the existing hoistway as necessary; electrical work; testing and commissioning; training; and warranty services. The Contractor shall coordinate all work to minimize disruption to the Sports Center's operations and shall provide temporary accommodations as specified herein.
