Overview


Summary

This is a Time and Material (TM) contract for the 2026-2027 school year . The Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, and materials required for the preventive maintenance and repair of elevators and chairlifts across District facilities . The selected contractor will be responsible for the regular inspection, maintenance, repair, cleaning, lubrication, and emergency services of our elevator to ensure their safe and efficient operation. For the purpose of this bid,

All elevators under this contract shall be maintained in first-class operating condition and must comply with all requirements of the current American Standard Safety Code for Elevators, ANSI-A17.1, and ANSI Inspection Manual ANSI-A17.2 and all other applicable laws, regulations, ordinances, codes, etc., and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Code shall be used as a guide to establish that the elevators are operating safely. The Contractor shall provide a full maintenance program in accordance with ANSI standards.
Each elevator was installed according to the current Code requirements that were applicable to the District at the time of installations. Any Code requirement subsequent to the installation will not apply.

BID BOND AND CONSENT OF SURETY IS REQUIRED.
