REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL # 2025-032

Elevator Maintenance

The City of Salem is seeking sealed proposals from qualified and licensed Offerors to provide elevator maintenance services, on a regular and/or as needed basis, at various locations within the City and City Schools, in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) # 2025-032.

Proposals must be received by hand delivery, mail or electronic submission through eVA at www.eva.virginia.gov no later than 3:00 PM ET on June 3, 2025.

Offerors who choose to submit paper proposals, shall submit one (1) original and one (1) electronic copy on a flash drive (Microsoft Word or PDF) in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside with the company’s name and “Attn: Purchasing Dept. – RFP #2025-032 – Elevator Maintenance”.

Offerors who choose to submit their proposals electronically must ensure that they are a registered vendor in eVA. Solicitations can be found under the Business Opportunities Tab > Virginia Business Opportunities (VBO). There is no cost to register. Any proposals received after the mentioned time and date shall be marked “late” and retained unopened in the procurement file.

Faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted.

The City of Salem reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any or all informalities or irregularities in any proposal. The City reserves the right to award as it deems in the best interest of the City of Salem.

Notices of proposal withdrawal must be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Department.
