The Aviation Authority is requiring qualified and experienced firms provide all labor, tools, manuals, code books, and all other items necessary or proper for, or incidental to, performing code-mandated inspections, re-inspection, and test witnessing services for elevators, escalators, moving walkways and generators located at the Orlando International Airport (MCO).
This Solicitation will result in a 60-month Contract to commence on or about March 1, 2026. The awarded Respondent shall be responsible for:
- Routine/Periodic Elevator Inspection and Test Witnessing
- Routine/Periodic Escalator & Moving Walkway Inspections and Test Witnessing
- 5-year Elevator Inspections and Witnessing
- Emergency Generator Inspections
- Second call-back inspections
The Orlando International Airport (MCO), operated and managed by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (“Aviation Authority”), has averaged 57.2 million domestic and international passengers during FY'25. MCO experienced a 15% growth in passenger traffic in 2023 and is currently served by 32 commercial airlines and 5 cargo carriers.
