RE: BID 20260177, ELECTRONIC WASTE DISPOSAL – ANNUAL CONTRACT

ADDENDUM NO. 1
Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract documents.
The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the proposal and contract documents. These items shall have the same force and
effect as the original bid and contract documents, and bids to be submitted on the specified date shall conform with the additions,
deletions and revisions as listed herein.
ITEM 1 REMOVE/REPLACE - Please remove TS-05 Loading, Service Frequency, and Transportation from page 10 and replace
with the following:
TS-05 LOADING, SERVICE FREQUENCY, AND TRANSPORTATION: The County shall not be limited to the number of
pick-up service requests made to the Contractor. A Waste Management representative will contact the Contractor on an as
needed basis for pick-up. Loading and transportation is the responsibility of the awarded Contractor. Awarded Contractor
shall:
1. Have a box truck equipped with a lift gate
2. Supply his own forklift
3. Provide pallets and shrink wrap to stage material
4. Stage the material
a. Pallets (no less than (3), no more than (8) eight) will be stacked with e-scrap and shrink wrapped for transport
by the Contractor
5. Load the staged material
6. Remove staged material from facility.
Service shall be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The awarded Contractor
will be required to provide service within 72 hours of a service request.
ITEM 2 QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
Q1. Regarding the battery categories listed as “over” and “under,” could you please clarify the types of batteries included
in each category and what specific battery types of ERC would be responsible for collecting?
A1. Please refer to page 9, TS-03, General Conditions.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20250009. Bidders
are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
