PUBLIC INVITATION TO BID
OUTDOOR DIGITAL MARQUEE SIGNS
The Orange Beach Board of Education hereby solicits sealed bids from qualified vendors for
the furnishing, delivery, removal, and installation of outdoor digital marquee signs and
related services for Orange Beach City Schools in accordance with applicable Alabama bid
laws.
Bids shall include all labor, materials, equipment, delivery, installation, software, permitting,
and related services necessary to complete the project.
Project Scope
The project generally consists of the following:
Orange Beach Middle and High School
One double-sided outdoor LED marquee sign
Approximate display size: 3' x 7.875'
3.8mm pixel pitch
Custom top sign
Removal of existing sign and LED display
Installation of a new display system
Wireless modem capability if network access is unavailable at the sign location

Minimum five-year parts warranty and one-year labor warranty
The successful bidder shall coordinate all permitting and comply with all applicable federal,
state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
Bidders shall possess all applicable licenses and certifications required under Alabama law
and shall provide proof of insurance upon request.
Site visits are recommended and may be conducted at the sole effort and expense of the
bidding company. All vendors shall first report to the appropriate school office upon arrival
prior to accessing campus grounds or project locations.

All pricing shall include shipping, delivery, labor, permits, applicable fees, and all costs
necessary for a complete operational installation.
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked:
"Outdoor Digital Marquee Sign Bid"
Bid specifications may be obtained beginning Monday, May 18, 2026.

Bids received after the stated deadline will not be opened or considered.

The Orange Beach Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive
technicalities, award by item or in whole, and accept the bid determined to be in the best
interest of the school system.
All vendors shall comply with applicable Alabama bid laws, immigration laws, and all other
