Project Description: The City of Tempe (City) is issuing this Request for Proposal to establish a two-year contract with three one-year renewal options for the lawful, safe, expeditious, and cost-effective service to contain, conduct site clean-up, transport extinguished reignitions, and disposition of Electric Vehicle (EV) and other high-voltage lithium-ion batteries that have become compromised. The parties to this contract shall use their best efforts to manage hazardous materials in a way that minimizes actual and potential risks to human health and the environment.
