Summary
Pierce County (hereafter known as ‘the County’) is seeking a qualified firm to provide an Elections Tabulation System.
Background
Pierce County is the second largest county in the state with over 590,000 registered voters. As with all counties in the State of Washington, Pierce County conducts all elections by mail and typically holds four (4) elections per year.
- Pierce County implemented the Clear Ballot system in 2016.
- The system currently consists of five (5) Fujitsu scanners and eight (8) ELO touch screens used for early voting and at voting centers.
- The County currently opens one to three voting centers for each election.
