Notice of Intent to Award a Contract for
eDOCS DM Document Management Annual Software Support and Maintenance Services

NOI No. 25-018

Notice is hereby given by the City of Coquitlam (“City”) of its intent to contract with Open Text Corporation for a twenty-four (24) month period commencing July 1, 2025 for the following services:
1) OpenText eDOCS Content and Records Management Maintenance, total contract value of $330,711 excluding PST and GST
The City of Coquitlam has chosen not to call for vendor proposals for the following reasons:
    The vendor has specific knowledge and demonstrated experience of the proprietary software; Manufacturer’s warranty may be void if serviced by unapproved vendors; The impact of introducing a new software and support provider would affect cost and resources; The City is not looking to replace the software solution, but to purchase support and maintenance services for the next twenty-four (24) months.

Vendors able to provide the same product and services are to submit information and rationale in writing, quoting the NOI number and name sent to email: bid@coquitlam.ca
