THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov).

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following:

Project Description: The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, supplies and personnel necessary to remove and dispose of the existing Upper Golden Trout Bridge including the bridge span and structures, bridge abutments and approaches and replace with a new structure as specified in the project plans and specifications.

Project Location: Bridge Coordinates: 39.615992, -121.142517.Forest Route 22N24, Feather River Ranger District, California.

Solicitation Number 127EAW25R0052 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about July 31st, 2025. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project.

There is currently no official group site visit scheduled. The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary.

Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
