Easton Iron-Metal Hot Spot Removal Project (2026-EHSR)

Project Description: The City of Easton is seeking bids for the clean up of the old Easton Iron & Metal facility. The Easton Iron & Metal (EIM) Hot Spot Removal project involves targeted remediation of contaminated areas identified on the EIM property. The work will follow technical specifications prepared by HDR, focusing on the removal and proper disposal of impacted soils and materials to meet environmental compliance standards. The project aims to mitigate potential hazards and restore the site for safe future use.
This includes excavation and removal of designated “hot spots,” transportation of materials to approved facilities, and site restoration per HDR’s specifications. Contractors will be expected to adhere to all regulatory requirements and project timelines.
The City of Easton has the right to refuse bids for any reason.
