East Water Street Bridge Repairs

Project Description: Sealed bids for the replacement of three steel bridge girders and a portion of the concrete bridge deck and sidewalk will be received online via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) by Gettysburg Borough, Adams County, Pennsylvania, until 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
The bids will be publicly opened and read electronically, via PennBid’s website, at 10:00 AM (prevailing time), same date. Bid results will be available at the end of the business day, same date.
Copies of Bidding Documents for the East Water Street Bridge Repairs are available online and at no cost via the PennBid Program at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
NOTE: The Borough Council of Gettysburg Borough has authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc. to act on its behalf in opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Gettysburg Borough.
A bid bond by an acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to the Gettysburg Borough in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid.
Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work.
Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended.
The Contract Time for this project is two hundred ten (210) calendar days.
The Gettysburg Borough reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids.
