Description

Previously advertised as RFQ-2025-0001.

The City of Houston seeks qualified consulting Respondents to provide Professional Engineering Services for the East Water Purification Plant Enhancement Project 1. The selected engineering firm will serve as the Engineer of Record and will be responsible for the design of new 360 million gallons per day (MGD) water treatment facilities. These facilities will consist of four 90 MGD treatment trains and will be constructed on the existing EWPP monofil site, in coordination with a separately contracted Construction- Manager- at- Risk (CMAR) entity. The City intends to enter into one or more contracts with a qualified firm(s) to perform the required engineering services under this solicitation. A separate but companion project, Project 2, will involve solids handling, piping, and other improvements necessary to ensure full system functionality. Project 2 will be designed and constructed separately and is not included in this solicitation.
