694 East Vandalia Fence Bid

The City of Edwardsville is seeking separate sealed bids for the installation of a fence including related materials and supplies for property at 694 East Vandalia, Edwardsville, Illinois.  Bids will be received by the Edwardsville City Clerk, 118 Hillsboro Avenue, P.O. Box 407, Edwardsville, Illinois 62025 until 2:00 p.m.,Thursday, January 23 ^rd , 2025 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

A bidders meeting will be held at 694 East Vandalia, Edwardsville, Illinois on Wednesday, January 15 ^th at 10 am.   A City representative will be present to provide access to the site and show the location for the fence and gates.

Plans and proposal forms will be available online by visiting the City of Edwardsville website at https://www.cityofedwardsville.com/bids.aspx.

All bids must be made on forms furnished by the City of Edwardsville and placed in a sealed envelope; clearly labeled, "BID ENCLOSED. 694 EAST VANDALIA FENCE BID” on the lower left hand corner of the envelope.

Contractors must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the total bid with the bid sheet.

Illinois law requires that contractors pay the prevailing wage rates as determined by the Department of Labor.

The City of Edwardsville reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all bids.
