Summary Details

The Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship (WLRS), in partnership with the Ktunaxa Nation Council (KNC) and the ʔakisq̓nuk First Nation (AFN), are seeking proposals to develop a strategic habitat plan guided by Ktunaxa values for the East Side Columbia Lake. The plan will provide a description of current ecosystem health and conditions, conduct a landscape level values assessment (including a risk/opportunity assessment) and provide guidance and recommendations for potential restoration projects and management options focused on improving ecosystem health and maintaining Ktunaxa values in the Wildlife Management Area (WMA).
