East Rockhill Township 2025 Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course

Project Description: Roads: Portion of Campus Drive, all of Buck Drive, Deer Run Road and Pine Court
Sealed bids will be received by East Rockhill Township electronically via the PennBid System until 10:00 AM on February 20, 2025 for the following contracts: 1. Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course on a portion of Campus Drive and all of Buck Drive, Deer Run Road and Pine Court; 2. Bituminous Seal Coat on a portion of Clymer Road, Axehandle Road and all of W. Rock Road; 3. Paving on a portion of Old Bethlehem Pike; 4. Paving on a portion of Meadow Lane and all of Harriet Drive and Willow Court (Prevailing Wage). Bids for each contract will be reviewed publicly and available at 10:00 AM on February 20, 2025. Specifications and forms for proposal for each contract may be obtained or examined on the internet at www.pennbid.bonfirehub.com at no cost. (Contractors must register in accordance with PennBid requirements). Contractors may submit individual bids for one or more of the contracts. The successful bidder(s) will be required to pay PennBID a fee of 1/3 of 1% of the contract award value. Bids must be made on forms furnished by the Township (via PennBid) and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of at least (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Township. Bidder shall verify compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act (E-Verify Program). Attention is drawn to the fact Contract 4 is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act 442) as amended; and that the successful bidder shall pay no less than the minimum wage rates determined for the project and set forth in the specifications. Statement of contractor PennDOT prequalified as a prime contractor must be included with all bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Insurance; Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of One Hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price; and a Maintenance Bond in the amount of price specified in the individual contract specifications with a corporate surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and approved by the Township, in accordance with bid specifications. Award of Contract(s), if Contracts are awarded, will be based on the Total Base Bid or Base Bid Plus Alternate, at the discretion of the Township and will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Each contract will be awarded individually. East Rockhill Township reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities.
