East Milton Fire Station Request for Proposals

The Town of Milton (the “Town”) is requesting proposals to purchase or lease the following Town-owned property: 525 Adams Street, a 7,020 square foot property with an approximately 1,900 square foot Fire Station structure that was built in 1952 (the “Property”).

The property record card is attached as Exhibit A and a copy of the Assessor’s Map and Roll Plan #11 are attached as Exhibit B. Town Meeting has not voted to authorize the Select Board to convey the Property. Any Purchase and Sale or Lease Agreement shall be subject to approval by Milton Town Meeting. In addition, the site is in active use by the Milton Fire Department until completion of a new fire station at 432 Adams Street, anticipated in Fall/Winter 2026. Proposers may propose to purchase or lease the Property. A proposed lease term may be any term between five (5) and ninety-nine (99) years. Unless any lease expressly includes provisions for an extension, the lease cannot be extended beyond the original term without compliance with procurement laws.

The East Milton Fire Station shall be sold or leased “as is, where is.”

Sealed proposals for purchasing or leasing the Property must be received at the Select Board/Town Administrator’s Office, Milton Town Hall, 2nd Floor, 525 Canton Avenue, Milton, MA 02186 on or before 11:00 a.m. on July 22, 2026, as specified in Section G below.
