Early Childhood Education Wrap-Around Program Services

Purpose of Proposal: The Passaic Board of Education is soliciting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) through the Competitive Contracting process (N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-4.1 et seq.) to establish a contract with a qualified provider to deliver a developmentally appropriate wraparound early childhood program and curriculum at Schools No. 3, 6, 7, 15, and 24.

The Passaic Board of Education serves a diverse, high-need student population, including a significant number of multilingual learners and families who rely on consistent, high-quality early childhood programming. The district has made substantial investments in expanding access to full-day preschool and aligning instruction with research-based, developmentally appropriate practices. As enrollment continues to grow across Schools No. 3, 6, 7, 15, and 24, there is a need to ensure that extended-day (wraparound) services are equally aligned in quality, rigor, and approach.
