E-WASTE RECYCLING SERVICES

The County of Orange, County Executive Office - CPO , (hereinafter referred to as County) is requesting competitive bids from qualified vendors (hereinafter referred to as Bidder) for E-WASTE RECYCLING SERVICES . The awarded Contract, (hereinafter referred to as Contract) will be between the County and awarded Bidder, (hereinafter referred to as Contractor) in accordance with the model contract terms, conditions and scope of work. This is a fully electronic solicitation – only electronic bids submitted through the County’s online bidding system will be allowed; no other form of bid submittals will be accepted. Prior to submitting a bid, Bidders are advised to carefully read the instructions below, including the model contract and any solicitation attachments and/or exhibits.

Contractor shall provide E-waste Recycling Services within the County of Orange and its partner entities. Contractor shall be regularly and continuously engaged in the business of providing E-waste recycling services and possess all necessary professional credentials to supply products and perform the services as specified under Attachment A, Scope of Work.

The County of Orange is a de-centralized government organization comprised of 22 individual departments employing over 17,000 individuals with locations spread out over our 948 square mile territory. Contractor is required to perform the task as set forth in this Scope of Work in the most cost effective and environmentally sound manner. Contractor shall provide electronic waste (E-waste) recycling services to various County agencies/departments. Services shall consist of handling, transportation, destruction, disposal, and recycling E-waste. County makes no guarantee of quantity or quality of CRT’s or E-waste, or the number of pickups.
