E-RFP #23-022 - Welfare to Work Mental Health Employability Services

The County of Fresno, on behalf of the Department of Social Services (DSS), is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to provide mental health (MH) treatment services such as assessments, therapy, and behavioral rehabilitation. The goal of these services is to identify clients’ MH needs and provide treatment to address and overcome their MH barriers that may prevent them from engaging in and retaining employment or educational training. The selected bidder shall also document assessment results and create a treatment plan that will aid DSS in developing appropriate employment goals or other WTW activities for participants. Services are intended for recipients of California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) benefits in Fresno County. Referred clients are participants in the Welfare-To-Work (WTW) and Cal-Learn programs with mild to moderate MH symptoms living in metro Fresno and in rural outlying Fresno County communities. It is the intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) to enter into an agreement with one selected bidder. Contracted services will be funded through the CalWORKs Mental Health Allocation.
