The proposed intersection improvement project includes the installation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Park Street (Route 62) at Central Street, including the removal of the temporary traffic signal that currently resides at the intersection. Improvements will also include the construction of hot mix asphalt (HMA) sidewalks, ADA/AAB compliant pedestrian curb ramps, granite curbing, MUTCD compliant pavement markings, crosswalk, and signage, mill and overlay of the existing pavement within the project limits, and other incidental work. Construction is expected to start on or before May 1, 2026 and be completed by November 30, 2026.
