DYS - CHJCF - Electric Forklift

The Department of Youth Services (DYS) is seeking to purchase an electric Forklift with a compatible battery and charging station for our Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correctional Facility (CHJCF) to be used for educational and training purposes.

DYS is looking to procure a forklift similar to a Caterpillar EC25N.
While the quoted Forklift does not need to be this model, the quoted forklift shall include a compatible battery and charging station and shall be equivalent in quality, and power to include the specs below:
•    Must be Electric
•    Capable of:
o    Ground level transport
o    Lifting and stacking
o    Double Stacking
o    Order Picking
o    Towing
o    Loading and Un-loading
•    Suitable for Indoor and Outdoor (pavement) use
•    Capacity 5000-5500 lbs
•    Lift height of 3 – 3.5 Meters
For the purposes of parts and repair, the quoted forklift must have a manufacturer with a strong presence in the US.

This solicitation will be awarded based on the lowest quote for the entire bid and the most responsive and responsible bidder to include delivery, setup, and warranty if applicable.  By submitting quote(s) for this solicitation, you are guaranteeing quoted pricing for 60 days.  No adjustments are permitted once a purchase order have been generated and received.
