The City of Bay City is soliciting sealed proposals for: DWSRF Lead Service Line Replacements
Bid #26-0617
There will be a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting on Tuesday, June 02, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the
Department of Public Works (DPW) located at 1645 Marquette Avenue, Bay City, MI 48706. The
pre-bid meeting must be attended in order to submit a bid. Bids will not be accepted unless
the bidder has attended the MANDATORY pre-bid meeting and signed the official attendance
sheet. Vendor names must be clearly visible on external container of submitted bid package
and match the vendor's name entered on the official attendance sheet.

Before the bid due date, it is the vendors responsibility to check the BidNet Direct bid system for any
Addendums that may have been issued.
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Bay City at the Purchasing Department, City Hall, 301
Washington Avenue, Room 304, Bay City, MI, until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, for the
DWSRF Lead Service Line Replacements Bid #26-0617 all in accordance with the Bidding
Documents, and as otherwise set forth herein.
The City of Bay City has absolutely reserved the right and prerogative to reject any or all bids as well
as to waive any irregularities and informalities. The award of the contract, if it is awarded, will be to a
responsible and responsive Bidder whom the City Commission, in its sole discretion and judgment,
determines will be in the best interest of the City of Bay City, and which will not exceed the funds
available for the project.
