Dust Control

The Town of Carrot River is inviting bids for two applications of 11,600 feet of Calcium Chloride within the Town of Carrot River.

Delivery of the first application will be required prior to June 10, 2026 with exact dates for the successful bidder to be coordinated with Town staff for both applications.

Interested parties are invited to submit sealed documents marked “Dust Control Tender” that will be accepted by the undersigned until 4:30 pm Tuesday, May 19, 2026. The document should include:

• price the Town will pay on or before June 30, 2026
• promised by delivery date

The Town of Carrot River reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders received. All tenders will be evaluated on the following criteria with the associated weight assigned to each criterion:

• Price weight 50%, the lowest price will be assigned 10 points, each other price will be assigned points based on the lowest price, e.g.) low bid $10 per yard received 10/10 or 100% or 10, $15 bid received 10/15 or 67% or 6.7
• Delivery Date 50% (10 optimum delivery date, 8 preferred but not optimum, 6 acceptable, 4 not in window but acceptable, 2 outside of preferred delivery window)
