Dunns Farm 25/26 Salvage Sale

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service is seeking sealed bids for the sale of timber. This is a salvage sale on 88 acres of natural longleaf pine on Jennings State Forest (SFI Certified Forest #NSF-SFI-FM-C0245755) in Clay County, Florida (see attached maps). The timber included is all unmarked trees within the sale boundary. Trees marked with blue paint or trees located within the flagged buffer zone along hiking trails shall not be harvested. Sale boundaries are roads, fire lines or blue and white checkered flagging. The Forester-in-Charge shall approve of any skid trails and loading decks. This sale has a rough estimated volume of 660 tons of salvage pine pulpwood and 1,300 tons of salvage pine chip-n-saw and better. Harvesting operations must start within two (2) weeks of contract execution. The length of the agreement will be six (6) months. The Florida Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in bids received.
