INVITATION

You are hereby invited to bid on a General Contract for Construction for the referenced project as described below.

A single, stipulated sum bid will be received, segregated bids will not be accepted.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Interior renovation of an existing building converting it to the new Central Office for the School District.

Estimated construction cost (base bid): $800,000

Abbreviated written summary: Briefly and without force and effect on Contract Documents, work of Contract can be summarized as follows:

1) Sitework: Site stairs and entry ramp, ADA parking

2) Doors, Windows and Hardware: Aluminum storefront doors, replacement windows

3) Interior Finishes: Gypsum board partitions, paint, resinous, carpet

4) Furnishings: Loose furnishings by Owner.

5) Special Construction/Conveying Systems: ADA lift

6) Mechanical Work: upgrades to existing systems

7) Plumbing work: replacement of existing fixtures

8) Electrical Work: replacement of existing electrical systems

9) Low voltage: new equipment for building

CONTRACT DOCUMENTS

Bid documents will officially be issued to bidders through Drexel Technologies along with addendums and will be available Wednesday April 29th. https://projectbids.drexeltech.com/ 913-371-4430

CAD files of the Drawings will NOT be available for bidding.

BID SECURITY AND BONDS

Bid Security and bonds will be required in accordance with "Instructions to Bidders".

The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids.
