DTC DOOR & GATE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

The Detroit People Mover is soliciting bids for a firm fixed requirements contract for 1) Hollow Metal doors 2) heavy duty gates 3) Garage doors 4) roll up gates 5) glass doors 6) automatic glass doors 7) entrance and exit gates for maintenance, repair and replacement service on as needed basis. This contract will also require annual PM’S on garage doors and gates. DPM intends to award a three (3) year contract with two (2) additional one-year options to renew, at DPM’s discretion. It is DPM’s intent to award the contract to one vendor, however DPM reserves the right to award multiple bidders if DPM, at its sole option, deems such action to be in its best interests.

A mandatory walk thru will take place at DTC’s MCF (Control Center) located at 1250 Park Place, Detroit, MI 48226 at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 27th, 2025. RSVP to cthomas@thepeoplemover.com. There is a gated entrance located at the corner of State St & Washington Blvd. Upon arrival, you can contact the Control Center at 313- 963-0171 for entrance to the parking lot.

Proposals will only be accepted via Bidnet/MITN ONLY on or before 5:00 p.m. (EDT), Friday, September 12, 2025. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC OPENING OF THE PROPOSALS.
