Dry Gulch Project

The Churchill County Board of County Commissioners is currently accepting bids to perform renovations to the existing Dry Gulch Building located at the Churchill County Fairgrounds.  The “Work” will consist of a base bid and two (2) options and include the following:

Base Bid:

• Demo the existing roof, trusses, and the existing swamp coolers.
• Install new roof trusses, sheathing, and metal roof.
• Install rain gutters.
• Remove and replace concrete.
• Install 40’x80’ shade structure (shade structure to be supplied by the owner).
• Install ~4,500 SF concrete.
• Install glass store front entrance with two (2) 3’ wide doors and glass roll-up door in existing openings.
• Rehab existing front facade and swing doors on south side of the building.
• Install two (2) ground mount coolers with associated electrical, ducts and registers.
• Install new light fixtures.
• Spall and crack repair in the existing block walls.
• Paint interior and exterior

Bid Alternate 1:

• Install new facade on west side of building.
• Install new concrete.
• Install 20’ rolling gate in existing fence.
• Pavement striping.

Bid Alternate 2:

• Cut out two (2) new openings and install glass store front entrance and glass roll-up door.

Project plans and scope of work are included in the specifications attached as Exhibit A.   The specification may be supplemented with more detailed drawings, descriptions, and requirements at the mandatory pre-bid meeting which shall automatically become part of the bid packet.
