Title:
Drainage Retrofit for Roll-Off Containers Yard at Snapper Creek Trash and Recycling Center

Announcement Info:
The work consists of adding French drains with catch basins to the existing storm water drainage system at the Snapper Creek Trash and Recycling Center roll-off containers yard. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, incidentals, to perform all necessary tasks to complete the project, and ready for service in accordance with the plans and specifications provided. The work includes but is not limited to the following items: •Demolition, removals and disposal •Dewatering, excavation and backfill •Cleaning of existing drainage system •Repairing existing drainage systems, once cleaned, if required •Installation of new drainage structures, including testing •Restorations of pavement and others, disposal of excess materials •Providing as-built documentation •Permit fees will be reimbursed to the Contractor by the County, when properly justified •Demolished concrete shall be removed to a construction and demolition recycling facility Additional Requirements: •All construction and materials shall conform to the County's Sustainable Buildings Program. WORK HOURS: Work Days: Allowable work times shall be Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. (nighttime work only), except some Legal holidays. CONTRACTOR shall submit for approval to the PROJECT MANAGER. PRIME CONTRACTOR MUST BE ABLE TO PULL MASTER PERMIT. Building/zoning improvement permit dry run will be provided to the awarded consultant. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI): DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF RFI QUESTIONS: 08/28/2025 at 2PM EST. Submit Request for Information (RFl's) to: angela.mathews@miamidade.gov Copy division staff members: primo@miamidade.gov and gibsy.nunezdavila@miamidade.gov, and Copy clerkbcc@miamidade.gov LICENSE QUALIFICATIONS OF CONTACTORS: All Contractors must hold a current valid State of Florida Certified General Contractor License, as required by the Florida Building Code, for the types of Work covered by the Contract at the time of RPQ submission and maintain same throughout the duration of the project. Contractor must refer to the Request for Price Quotation (RPQ) and associated project documents for the detail Scope of Work.
