DPW Roof Replacement

The City of Framingham (‘City), acting through the Mayor, the Awarding Authority invites sealed bids from qualified contractors to complete the scope of work contained herein and generally referred to as IFB #8812 –DPW ROOF REPLACEMENT.

The Project includes but is not limited to: replacement of skylights, stripping and replacement of the Fleet Maintenance, Highway Division and Water/Sewer

Garage Roofs, including replacement of wet and damaged roof insulation.

DCAMM Certification is required to bid on this project;

General Bid certification category is Roofing

In order to be eligible and responsible to bid on this project, Bidders certified in Roofing  shall submit with their bid a current Certificated of Eligibility for Roofing issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance, DCAMM (formerly the Division of Capital Planning and Operations, DCPO), together with an Update Statement.

Sealed bids for the contract shall be submitted in strict conformance with the bid document and will be submitted electronically through the City of Framingham’s Vendor Registry portal https://vrapp.vendorregistry.com/Vendor/Register/Index/city-of-framingham-ma-vendor-registration no later than Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 10:00 AM.

***A Non Mandatory Pre-Bid site visit will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at DPW, 110 Western Avenue ***

Bids must be submitted electronically through the City’s Vendor Registry system.  Bids submitted through any other means, such as mail, email or hand delivery, will not be accepted and will be rejected by the City as non-responsive.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities & technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
