DPW Main Facility- Relocate Gate #1

The City of Bowie, Maryland requests bids for removal and disposal of a sliding gate and the supply and installation of a new sliding gate system at the main entrance of the Public Works facility located at 16500 Annapolis Road, (Public Works Road) Bowie, Maryland. Complete specifications and bid documents may be obtained at no cost through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/5613_Dpw_Main_Facility__Relocate_Gate_1 . Registration to use Bid Locker is at https://bidlocker.us/Account/Signup and is free to all interested parties.

Electronic (pdf) bids will be received through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/5613_Dpw_Main_Facility__Relocate_Gate_1 until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026. The City of Bowie reserves the right to reject any bids.

Interested bidders are encouraged to attend the scheduled pre-bid meeting scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Public Works Administration Building Conference room located at 16500 Annapolis Road, Bowie, Maryland 20715. A site visit will follow the meeting.

All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this Invitation for Bids are required to be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/5613_Dpw_Main_Facility__Relocate_Gate_1 . Deadline for inquiries is 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Written responses to all questions and/or clarifications will be issued as an addendum to the solicitation no later than Thursday, February 26, 2026, to all those who have registered with Bid Locker and downloaded the specifications and bid documents.

The City encourages certified disadvantaged business entities to submit a bid.
