Dows Road Barn Demolition Derecho Project

By direction of the Linn County, Iowa Board of Supervisors (the “Board”), in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 26 of the Code of Iowa, notice is hereby given that sealed bid proposals for the DOWS ROAD BARN DEMOLITION DERECHO PROJECT (the “Project”) will be received by Linn County at the Linn County Purchasing Department located in the Jean Oxley Linn County Public Service Center at 935 2nd Street SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, until 2:00 pm local time, on Friday, December 13, 2024. Linn County will not consider bids received after the bid submission deadline, and will return such bids unopened to the late bidder.

Sealed bid proposals for the Project submitted by the time and date stated above will be opened and read at the Linn County Board of Supervisors meeting in the Formal Board Room of the Jean Oxley Linn County Public Service Center at 10:00 am on Monday, December 16, 2024, for consideration by the Board at its meeting at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

A MANDATORY PREBID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD FOR THIS PROJECT. In order for a bid to be considered, bidder or bidder’s representative must attend the mandatory pre-bid conference scheduled below.
