Downtown Lighting

This project consists of all work associated with the unit price bid for rehabilitation/addition of 100 W. Houston Street Lighting, including demolition of the existing sidewalk; light pole and power rehabilitation/demolition; removal and preservation of existing parking signs within demolished areas; and should the Owner decide to award the Additive Alternate, demolition of affected pole bases. Project shall include all necessary labor, materials, and testing in accordance with the plans and specifications.

Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier’s check or certified check from a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price, payable without recourse to the City, or an original bid bond in the same amount from a surety company licensed by the State of Texas to act as a Surety and listed on the current U.S. Treasury Listing of Approved Sureties, or a Binder of Insurance executed by a surety company licensed by the State of Texas to act as a surety or its authorized agent as a guarantee that the respondent will enter into a contract and execute a Performance Bond within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to respondent.
