Door & Related Hardware

The University is seeking to procure materials only to replace a combination of 188 doors for student Residence Halls and assorted bathrooms on the uptown campus. The successful vendor will supply new steel doors, hinges, Corbin Russwin electric mortise locks, mortise cylinders, door closers, door whip and peep holes (peep hole for student room doors only) and Von Duprin power supplies. Please see doors schedules along with door and hardware specifications. There is no substation for the Corbin Russwin electric mortise lock, cylinders and Von Duprin power supplies. All other door hardware is to be supplied as specified or an approved equal. The successful vendor will be responsible for all field measurements of all 188 doors. The manufacturing and the prep on the doors to accept all hardware including mortise lock and cylinder prep, hinges, peep holes for student room doors, wire pathway for door whips and electric mortise lock wiring. Technical specifications and models that are the basis of design are included in the technical specification associated with this project.
