Summary

The City of St. Petersburg is seeking quotes from qualified vendors for the demolition of the existing double doors and the installation of a single slide hurricane door for the elevator lobby on the 2nd floor of the St. Pete Pier Head Building. Electrical service to the door to be done outside of this scope, and is not required to be done by awarded contractor.

Background

The existing double doors are not automatic or sliding. They consistently get caught by the wind and frequently need repairs. The door frame and doors are damaged beyond normal wear and tear.
