2026 Donegal Springs Road Roadway Improvement Project

Project Description: Notice is hereby given that the East Donegal Township Board of Supervisors, Lancaster County, 190 Rock Point Road, Marietta, PA 17547, will accept bids for the following contract until 11:00 a.m., February 26, 2026, and will be opened on PennBid (pennbid.bonfirehub.com). Hand delivered, mailed, and faxed bids will not be accepted. All bids are to be submitted online through the PennBid website (pennbid.bonfirehub.com):
The 2026 Donegal Springs Road Roadway Improvement Project consists of full-depth reclamation and roadway widening, including associated shoulder and embankment grading, along Donegal Springs Road from Maytown Road to Endslow Road, a distance of 3,170 linear feet. The work also includes milling and installation of paving fabric from Endslow Road to Donegal Presbyterian Church, covering 5,730 linear feet. An asphalt overlay will be applied from Maytown Road to Donegal Presbyterian Church for the full project length of 8,900 linear feet.
Bid bond or certified check for 10% of the total base bid payable to "East Donegal Township" shall accompany each bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages should the bidder default in execution of the contract within 10 days after notice of award of same. The non-collusion affidavit must be executed and submitted with the bid. The project cost is greater than $25,000 and shall be bid utilizing PA Prevailing Wage Rates. A completed Public Works Employment Verification Form shall be submitted with the bid package. The Township reserves the right to waive irregularities in, or reject any and all bids.
A voluntary pre bid conference will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 1:00pm at East Donegal Township Municipal Building, 190 Rock Point Road, Marietta, PA 17547.
