DOH Evaluation of Harm Reduction Strategies for Underserved Populations

Amendment 1, resulting in Round 2, is issued to denote an update to the closing date, the inquiry end date, clarify the Scope of Work and Deliverables, clarify the Cost Proposal, and modify the projected effective date.

The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for the Ohio Department of Health’s Violence and Injury Prevention Section.  The Agency is seeking a Contractor to evaluate the Agency’s Harm Reduction Expansion program (the Program). The Agency will implement the Program at six sites (the Sites) located throughout the State of Ohio. Each Site is charged with reducing unintentional drug overdose deaths by doing the following:

1. Expanding access to evidence-based harm reduction services through outreach to underserved populations.
2. Improving access to medication assisted treatment within syringe service programs.
3. Increasing provision of harm reduction services for those leaving local or regional jails.
