Doe Neck Road Bridge Replacement over Price Creek

The Doe Neck Road Bridge Replacement over Price Creek project is located north of the 9 Mile Point Road and Cedar Way Road intersection in the City of Pierson, Volusia County, Florida – Section 17, Township 14 South, and Range 28 East within the Lake George Wildlife Management Area. The latitude and longitude coordinates for the approximate center of the new bridge are 29? 16' 39.87"N, 81? 29' 36.23"W. The Lake George Wildlife Management area is managed by a joint agreement between Volusia County and the St. Johns River Water Management District.

The proposed bridge will consist of dual pre-cast box culverts with concrete pavement on top, concrete traffic railings, and headwalls. The bridge will be used to support maintenance vehicles, brush trucks with 400-gallon water tanks, pickup trucks, and logging trucks. This project will not expand the number of traffic lanes or realign Doe Neck Road.
